Dear ABBI Breeders,
To better serve our bucking bull breeders, ABBI will be switching to a new EID tag. This new tag will be compliant with the USDA regulations but does require a Premise ID number for each breeder. In order for us to send out the tags to you, it requires a Premise ID number from your state. You can find the list of states and the number to call for your premise id below. Please call the office so we can record your Premise ID on your member record. These tags will have the ABBI logo, ABBI number, and USDA logo on it to compete in ABBI events and other events that accept are regulations. These EID tags are linked to ABBI database which includes animal information and their DNA. The bulls will be able to have one electronic ID for all of their interstate movement. We hope that this process will make the tags more efficient and effective for our breeders. Please call the office with any questions.
